Industry Workshop "Battery Cell Production and Parameterization"

21.06.2022, Aachen, Super C, Ford-Saal

We welcome you to the industry workshop on "Battery Cell Production and Parameterization" of the RWTH institutions Institute for Power Electronics and Electrical Drives (ISEA) and Production Engineering of E-Mobility Components (PEM) The workshop is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

The industry workshop focuses on the topics of cell production and cell parameterization. Within this framework, we have put together a varied program of technical lectures, working sessions, presentations of research results and laboratory tours.

During the industry workshop, current research results from the "SimBAS" project will be presented. In this research project on the Simulation of Battery Cells and Applications in Storage Systems (SimBAS), a combined storage simulation tool chain is being developed that covers the value chain from battery cell materials to applications. With the resulting frameworks, aspects of the design of current and future lithium-ion battery cells can be mapped for the first time to a suitable system design for an application-specific application.

The industry workshop offers participants the opportunity to get in direct contact with future battery cell technologies and to meet experienced researchers, professors and industry partners. Participation in both the face-to-face and digital formats is free of charge. All registration information can be found in the flyer for the industry workshop.
