ePerformance - Design and construction of a battery electric vehicle
In cooperation with Audi, a modular system kit for electrically powered vehicles was developed together with the IEM and IKA as part of the ePerformmance project funded by the BMBF. The result is a sporty research vehicle, the F12. ISEA was involved in the development of the battery system and the DC-DC converter.
In addition to the DC-DC converter, a switched reluctance machine will also be presented at the exhibition.

The energy transition - challenges and solutions in electrical energy supply
Alternative Energy supply of the future
In addition, ISEA has created an energy model of the Aachen region on behalf of the faculty. The exhibit shows some solutions for the future energy supply. In this context, the electricity sector will also have to provide substitutes for coal, oil and gas for heat supply and mobility in the future.
