Second Edition AED is out!
News from the Institute for Power Electronics and Electrical Drives
Together with his co-authors, Dr. André Veltman and Visiting Prof. Duco Pulle, Prof. De Doncker celebrated the release of their book Advanced Electrical Drives , 2nd Edition. They met at Dr. Veltman’s company PIAK, Culemborg, Netherlands to sign copies for those who contributed to this edition. Joining on-line was Prof. Tom Jahns, University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA, who wrote the foreword. Major re-editing was done for the 2nd edition of Advanced Electrical Drives. In particular, the tutorials are now all running on the PLECS simulation platform. Using this platform allows the reader not only to run the tutorials but can also use the tutorial code as the basis for further work.
