Model experiment to compare and identify synergy potentials of open source frameworks in energy system analysis
The analysis and understanding of system interrelationships in the context of energy system transformation is an important pillar for making forward-looking decisions. To make the analyses transparent, open source frameworks are available that can be used to model a wide range of scenarios. In open_MODEX, the theories of known open frameworks and their calculation results are compared. ISEA participates in the comparison of open frameworks with its open source framework GENESYS-2.
01st January 2019 – 31th December 2021
The open_MODEX project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi) under the funding code 03ET4076B in the context of the call for funding Model Experiments for System Analysis (MODEX) of 01.12.2017 within the 6th Energy Research Programme of the Federal Government, Section 3.14 System Analysis.
