There are various test benches and specially equipped laboratories available for the assembly and characterization of converters and components.

Component Test Benches

  • double pulse test bench for IGBTs, MOSFETs and wide-bandgap semiconductors up to 1kV and 1kA
  • test bench for the thermal impedance characterization of semiconductors and thermal cycling
  • test bench for the measurement of passive components including the temperature dependency
 

    Converter Test Benches

    • PV emulator for the characterization of central inverters with up to 500 kVA

    • load emulator for machine converters (up to 100 kW)

    EMV Laboratories

    • line impedance stabilization network and test receiver for the measurement of conducted interference
