Tutorial on reliability of power electronics at the IEEE ECCE 2019 congress in Baltimore

Together with the Center for Reliable Power Electronics of Aalborg University, Dr. Christoph van der Broeck, Chief Engineer of the Reliable Power Electronics Group at ISEA, developed and presented a tutorial on reliability of power electronics at the IEEE ECCE 2019 congress in Baltimore. Christoph focussed on the ageing effects in power electronic modules caused by thermal cycling. Next to measurement set-ups, thermal models and temperature estimators attention was spent on remaining lifetime prediction for preventive maintenance.
