Research Group Power Semiconductor Devices

The research group "Power Semiconductor Devices" deals with the modelling, FE simulation and manufacturing of thyristor-type high-power semiconductor devices. Currently, the main emphasis lies on the development of innovative power semiconductor switches based on the Si-Si Bonding technology. Since the end of 2003, ISEA shares a new cleanroom with a total area of 750 m2 with two other institutes; therewith the simulated devices can be manufactured.
